Recently, I competed in two Figure Competitions.  The first was The Monster Mash in Middleton Ohio.  I placed 3rd in my class. The second was The Kentucky Muscle in Louisville KY.  I didn’t place in the top 5, but had so much fun and met some wonderful people in the Fitness Industry.  A couple of people I met were Terry and Elaine Goodlad , who are very well known on the Fitness scene.  Terry is a writer and Photographer for all of the top Fitness magazines.  Elaine is a top Figure competitor and Fitness Model.  She is getting ready to do a reality show about the sport that will feature her preparing for an upcoming competition at the Arnold Classic.  I also met Tom Richardson the creator of Tight Curves products, a supplement company which I have recently been chosen to be part of.  I also got to visit with Ana Tigre the designer of Fizeek Brazil fitness clothing.  She is such a beautiful person both inside and out.  If you have never seen her line of clothes you have to check them out at www.fizeekbrazil.com.  They are featured in all of the fitness magazines on some of the best bodies in the industry.  Once you put them on your body you will never want anything else.  I also got to hang out with Rick and Julie Lohre which I have become so close to over the past two years.  Julie is such an inspiration to me and is the whole reason I started competing.  She is a Fitness competitor and Fitness model.  Julie’s husband Rick is a wonderful photographer and has taken many of the pictures on my site.  I had so much fun and loved seeing all of my fitness buddies there.  It is a lot of fun to get to talk with women who have the same interest, workouts, and diets as I do.  We get ideas off of each other to know what we need to do to improve the next year.  Like Bodybuilding, Figure is a sport.   We know how hard each and every girl work to get on stage, sometimes for years, to look that good.  We respect that. Judging varies from show to show and can be very subjective.  I love being a part of it and want to place well, but know I have to do this to change my body for me and not to please the judges.  I have a lot of plans for my off season to reduce the amount of cardio, shorten my workouts, focus on rest, and eat more!!!  FUN!!!!!!  For photos of the shows click HERE or on the image below.
